The National Magazine Company now publish 20 titles, plus together with ACP have formed ACP Natmag to produce Reveal and Best and with Rodale have formed Natmag-Rodale to publish Men’s Health and Runner’s World.

From offices in London's West End, close-knit teams work together to produce what managing director Duncan Edwards proudly calls "the best magazine brands in Britain", each of them occupying a unique and well-defined position in the market. Many companies have attempted to mimic NatMags' success, but none has managed to establish such a reputation for creativity, quality and excellence, or to develop as strong a stable of well-known, popular publications.

The company has led the field in magazine publishing in the UK since William Randolph Hearst, founder of the Hearst Corporation, the US communications giant, established it here in 1910. Hearst's empire building began in 1887 when he took over an ailing newspaper, the San Francisco Examiner, and doubled its circulation within four years. By 1923 he owned 37 US newspapers and seven magazines, including Cosmopolitan, Good Housekeeping and Harper's Bazaar.
